Standard Australian Labradoodles Welcome to Tortoise Island Australian Labradoodles, a home breeder of authentic Australian Labradoodles located on Florida's Space Coast. We have one dog, Belle. She and her mate Scooby, owned by A'usm Labradoodles, are descended from the original Australian founders of the breed. They had their first litter of 6 beautiful puppies on July 14, 2009. The pups were hand raised with lots of love and wide range of stimulation and socialization. Their next litter is due around September 18, 2010.

Non Shed Curly Fleece Coats Australian Labradoodles make ideal service dogs, guide dogs, and therapy dogs, instinctive hunting dogs, and perfect pets. Our goal is to produce healthy, intelligent, happy, easily trained, non shedding, largely hypoallergenic dogs. Belle and Scooby have undergone extensive health and genetic tests. They are pure Australian Labradoodles descended from the Rutland Manor and Tegan Park research centers in Australia. By strictly breeding within this gene pool our pups have the characteristics of authentic Australian Labradoodles, they will be loving, smart, allergy friendly, non shedding dogs.

Home Bred Service Dogs Scooby is trained as a quadriplegic assistant dog. He is an amazing dog, answering the phone, opening and taking food from the refrigerator, opening doors, and much more. He is the ultimate service dog, with an emotionally sensitive temperament and the intelligence to learn many complex tasks. His babies are uniformly smart, easy to train, emotional dogs ready for service work or family. 2 pups from his last litter are in training for service and the others are living in families with allergies.

Our house does not smell like a dog and nobody we know is allergic to our home any longer. Smart, Emotionally Sensitive Belle comes almost everywhere with us. She attracts attention since even dog people rarely recognize her breed and stop to meet her, and she is calm and gentle with everyone she meets. No one has ever had any allergies to Belle.
